Remote work is becoming the new trend and the freelancing and entrepreneurial route have skyrocketed over the past couple of years. More now than ever I see many diving headfirst into the game with no background or resources to help them stay afloat. Ultimately, putting people in a very uncomfortable and not so welcoming place.
The Dream Is Not What It Seems
Running your own business, having employees, flexible scheduling, and the comfort of working from home or anywhere in the world. Sounds like an all exclusive package to the career of your dreams, and yes although all of this is entirely attainable and possible, the reality isn’t the same for everyone.
Not everyone has a comfortable, ergo dynamic home environment to work from, traveling and working isn’t as easy as it seems. There are a lot of factors that go into it.
I have been freelancing and traveling while running my business for the past 5+ years and although you learn a few tips and tricks over time I still run into constant obstacles such as
